From Humble Beginnings to a Thriving Town

Lab Town, USA began its life in 2014 as "Cameron Laboratories" on Minecraft Xbox One Edition. Created by Cam Labs, it was initally a testing ground for construction and redstone mechanics. The centerpiece was the Cameron Laboratories Tower, a towering 43-block structue in a modern/futuristic style. While a marvel back then, the tower's design reflects the creator's early building experience and stands in charming contrast to the world's later developments.

A Spark of Inspiration

In 2015, a friendly house-building competition was sparked by a relative of Cam Labs. However, the competition was short-lived! Cam Labs, captivated by the process, built a second house inspired by an online tutorial, putting the competition aside.

Lab Town Takes Shape

With the arrival of Update 2.0, the world transitioned from a testing ground to "Lab Town, USA." The once lonely tower found itself surrounded by a growing collection of builds, some crafted from tutorials, other born from Cam Labs' burgeoning creativity.

Evolving to New Horizons

As Cam Labs' skills honed over the years, Lab Town, USA migrated alongside advancements in Minecraft. In 2017, the world moved from the Xbox One Edition to the Bedrock Edition and only a few month later it found a new home on Bedrock Edition for Windows 10. But the journey wasn't over! In a testament to Lab Town's constant evolution, the world recently made its grand entrance onto Minecraft Java Edition, where it thrives today.
